Highlighting Customer: Engagement and Sustainability Commitment
LANXESS recently hosted a press event in Japan, showcasing its commitment to local customers and sustainability. This event featured a presentation by Junichi Yonezu, the Country Representative in Japan, highlighting the financial update for 2023, updates on sustainability initiatives, and the business focus and outlook for 2024.
"Our focus in the domestic market is on delivering high-quality products that meet our customers' high standards. Additionally, addressing climate change has become a top priority for our customers. We're committed to expanding our range of sustainable products to support our customers in achieving their climate-related objectives," emphasized Yonezu during his presentation.
The presentation was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, providing journalists with valuable insights into the company’s business focuses and plans.
The press event was attended by 28 journalists from 22 key media from industry, Auto, E&E, Food& Beverages as well as Cosmetics, reflecting the interest and importance of the company in the Japanese market. The event served as an opportunity to deepen relationships with the media and share the company's current and future focuses.
At the end of the event, journalists visited the product exhibition areas showcasing eight themes, actively engaging with representatives from business units to gain a deeper understanding of each topic.
