Our research has revealed that many of us already work with AI-supported models and tools on a daily basis. For example, they’re used by process experts together with data scientists. And the results are really something to behold – in the truest sense of the word. This is because AI-supported models often make processes visible and present results that can be compared with others in a way that didn’t previously exist with this level of clarity. In this way, we are gaining deeper insights into our processes and can optimize them. All of this is impressive and demonstrates that LANXESS is making real progress.  (Page 12)
The same is true for Business Excellence. The Streams are working tirelessly on their respective tasks. Some analyses are already part of our day-to-day work, as Sergio Coleoni, Head of Sales, PLA BU, reports. In his business unit, for example, the tools are helping identify new customers and analyze existing customers’ current purchasing behavior at a glance. Plans are in place to roll out the pilot project across the group. LANXESS is going in new directions and breaking with old habits in many areas. This is exciting and gives us reason to be optimistic about the future.
